Every round-trip scenic departure from Vancouver Harbour, pulled live from the booking engine. Prices are what you would pay right now, not advertised “from” rates.

• Two fare classes, ~$20 apart. Every slot sells a cheaper Scenic Tour fare and a dearer Scenic Ultimate. The booking engine surfaces Ultimate first — the cheaper fare is there, but you have to look for it. A dash means only Ultimate was showing at query time.
• The advertised $149 is not bookable tomorrow. Real Classic Panorama pricing on 5 Sep is $209–$249. Treat “starting from” fares as off-peak, book-ahead rates.
• Time of day is worth up to $40. Midday (12:15–12:45) is the peak at $249.40; 13:30 and 19:00 are the troughs at $209.
• 19:00 is the value pick in September. Same cheapest fare as 13:30, and sunset in Vancouver on 5 Sep is around 19:50 — you fly in the best light of the day.
• It is filling up. Five departures already sold out and nearly every remaining slot reports “3 or less left”. This is a same-week booking, not a walk-up.
• Seair alternative: the Vancouver City Skyline Tour lists at $185 and the Coastal Mountain Experience at $319. Seair does not expose live inventory the same way, so confirm by phone — at $185 advertised it may undercut Harbour Air's real $209 tomorrow.

Full-day tours — fly out, spend the day, fly back

Still round trips, but built around a destination. Two flights unless noted; the flight is the transport, the day is the product.

• Planes and Parks at $263 is the sensible entry to the full-day tier — a proper scenic flight plus Capilano, year-round, for less than the Extended Panorama plus a separate park ticket.
• The Fly ’n’ Drives are the smart compromise. One way by air, one way by road, for $405 — versus $490–$679 to fly both directions. You still get the full seaplane experience; you only lose the repeat of it.
• Whistler is seasonal (May–September) and the Victoria day trip is Apr 15 – Oct 4. Off-season, your round-trip options collapse to the four short flights above plus Planes and Parks and Salt Spring.

How to choose

Practical notes

• Fly in the morning. Coastal air is calmest before noon and the light on the North Shore mountains is better. Afternoons are bumpier.
• Depart from downtown, not YVR South. The Coal Harbour take-off past Stanley Park and under the Lions Gate Bridge is the best part of the flight. All four short tours above already leave from downtown.
• Check in 30 minutes early. Scenic flights are shared with other passengers unless you pay to make it private — Harbour Air offers a “Make it private” upgrade on both Panorama tours.
• Ask for the Scenic Tour fare explicitly. It is roughly $20 cheaper than Scenic Ultimate on the same aircraft and same departure.
• Weather cancellations are common outside summer. Tours run year-round, but build in a spare day if the flight is the point of the trip.
• Seats are not equal. On a de Havilland Beaver every seat has a window, but the co-pilot seat is the view — ask at check-in.
